We are delighted to announce that Anna Taylor will be headlining this year's Women's Climbing Symposium on Saturday 13th November at Hangar Sheffield.
A huge new talent, Anna has been climbing since she was ten years old, and these days primarily focuses on trad and solo climbing, with ascents up to E8. In 2019 she joined a team led by Leo Houlding on a major expedition to Guyana, where they made the first ascent of a new free route up the Prow of Mount Roraima. Recently she completed a link-up of all 83 Classic Rock climbs in the UK, cycling between them. It was a journey that lasted nearly two months, and involved 1,500 miles and over 10,000 vertical metres.
Keep an eye on the website and social channels for further speaker and programme announcements in coming days.
With huge thanks to presenting sponsor Petzl for bringing Anna to the Symposium.
